The Transparency Act

The Norwegian Transparency Act requires large companies (also foreign ones operating in Norway) to apply risk based human rights due diligence and to report on how they prevent their operations from negatively impacting people and the environment.

Small and medium-sized enterprises are indirectly affected by these requirements, as large companies must monitor the risks within their supply chains.
